Co-living and Accommodation
During the P.O.R.C.H. program, participants stay together in shared dormitory sleeping. If you need more privacy, you’re welcome to bring your own tent for sleeping. A dormitory spot will be available in case of bad weather or other problems. If you would like to have your own private room for the whole time of the program, you can book one, at extra cost. Please get in touch with us if you are interested in this option, and we can let you know about costs and availability. If you have further questions about accommodation, you might be interested in taking a look at our page that outlines the general information about accommodation at Ponderosa. Or, if not, then please get in touch and ask us.
Food is provided by Ponderosa. Most of the time, we have a cook who prepares delicious and nutritious meals. On Sundays, when our schedule allows, we like to have a brunch to have a more leisurely morning. Occasionally we also decide to cook together as a group.
If you’re unfamiliar with Ponderosa, then it’s probably worth taking a wander around the rest of this website for more of an introduction — things like the frequently-asked questions, the instructions for getting here, the focal points we have around our kitchen and garden, the involvement we have with yoga and contact improvisation, the connections we have to our surrounding community, and how we describe the place generally.
