There are many options available to apply for funding support in order to come to Ponderosa. This includes support to attend, participate in, teach, or organise workshops, to attend P.O.R.C.H. or other events, to undertake a residency, to show work, to stay for a longer-term amount of time, or other ways and modes that people use to spend time here.
This page is intended as a resource for everyone who would like to investigate further the possibility of gaining funding. However, it is a ‘living document’ that is periodically updated, and it is not a comprehensive listing of all possible sources of funding and support. If you are aware of any relevant information that is not listed here, please let us know and we will update the page accordingly.
Consider this information as a starting point for your own research, and good luck!
TransArtists, the Dutch Artist-in-Residence guide website, provides a helpful listing of funding bodies (mostly state-supported), for the whole world, organised by region. We link to their regional summaries here.
These listings are not comprehensive — please check them occasionally for periodic updates.
The following links are to resources, worldwide, that have provided funding, at one time or another, to participants in events at Ponderosa. These are listed as possible contributions to research for funding, and, as above, the listings are not comprehensive — please check them occasionally for periodic updates.
