Morning Yoga

8:00-9:30

Morning Yoga is a soft and powerful way to wake up your physical and energetic alignment using Kundalini Yoga. Come tune up, dive in and find balance in this physical meditation.

Kundalini Yoga is a 5,000-year-old system of yogic exercises and meditation that is designed to give you a "hands on" experience of your highest consciousness.  There are three basic components to Kundalini Yoga.  There are the physical postures, thousands of kriyas (exercise sets) that strengthen  the nervous system and balance the glandular system for optimum physical and emotional health. Breathing techniques (pranayam) help in processing emotions and feelings, relieving stress, and developing concentration.  Mantra (sound, or Naad Yoga) and meditation techniques work to direct and discipline the mind.  The practice of this yoga offers powerful tools for developing one's own higher consciousness and increasing wellbeing, vitality, and connectedness to life .  All levels are welcome.

Kyla Maher (Geet Anand Kaur)

Kyla is a KRI Certified Instructor of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan®.  She’s had the privilege of studying under senior teachers, Hari Kaur Khalsa and Mata Mandir Singh Khalsa.

Kyla graduated from Pepperdine University/USA with a B.S. in Sports Medicine. With extensive knowledge in exercise physiology and experience running collegiate level cross-country, she has always had an interest in physical well-being. However, it wasn't until she started practicing Kundalini Yoga that she discovered true wellness begins on the inside.

In a very short period of time Kundalini Yoga has carried Kyla through a process of healing and growth that changed her life in a miraculous way. The overall peace and serenity she acquired, as well as a new found outlook upon life, are gifts she has received from this practice.  She believes the only way to keep and nurture these gifts is to pass them on to others.
